We have talked about 'Kebaya' in the previous post. Now, we would like to talk about 'Batik'. We want to raise this topic because we know that 'Batik' is also related to women. First of all, 'Batik' itself has become our cutural heritage for long time. If you observe it well, Indonesia has many pattern of 'Batik' from different area. Hence, 'Batik' looks beautiful and elegant with its various pattern. Both men and women like to wear 'Batik' for their identity as Indonesian.
Nowadays, 'Batik' has many variety of mode for women. However, many women still think 'Batik' is only worn in formal occasion. Consequently, they just wear it in formal party or invitation. In fact, we can wear it in any occasion as many shops provide us modern 'Batik' for women in any mode and colours. We can mix and match our outfits beautifully. 'Batik' is not simply worn for going to office or to campus.
